You’ll check in to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, perched on the rim of the collapsed volcano. The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is often referred to as the eighth natural wonder of the world. After the Serengeti, Tarangire has the largest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is known for its spectacular baobab trees, breath-taking views of the Masaai Steppe, and is the only place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as Oryx and Gerenuk are regularly spotted.
