Start your journey with a night at the Jetwing Beach Hotel in Negombo. Where Sri Lankan design meets a tropical paradise. The hotel offers a thoroughly relaxing atmosphere and is situated just outside of Colombo.
After transferring to Habarana by private vehicle you’ll check in to the Cinnamon Lodge for a two night stay. You’ll spend your morning at the rock fortress of Sigiriya. Navigating your way up the winding stairs to its peak you’ll get a feel for times long past and enjoy the unique views. After conquering the rock, you’ll visit Pollonnaruwa. The city is a mystical ruin where you will uncover intricate statues and ornate rock carvings.
Your private driver will then take you to Kandy. During your two nights here, you’ll enjoy a private tour of the atmospheric Dambulla Cave temples. The historic caves tell ancient stories and are drenched in colourful Buddhist and Hindu imagery. After climbing the steps of the cave you’ll head to an authentic Sri Lankan farm and enjoy a leisurely hike as you learn about the area.
You’ll wander through the morning light around the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Within you’ll discover thousands of colourful and exotic plant species. In the afternoon you’ll head to The Temple of the Tooth, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. OROKO will arrange an expert guide to take you through the beautifully designed temple complex.
You’ll enjoy a scenic train journey from Kandy to Hatton enjoying exceptional views of the hill country. Exuding unique history and displaying colonial architecture, the quaint Mandira Craig Appin Bungalow will allow you to experience old world charm during your two night stay. Hatton is filled with lush tea gardens and you’ll sip delicious, locally- sourced tea as you enjoy the stunning scenery from your boutique bungalow.
Your private driver will take you to Yala National Park. OROKO will arrange a guided game drive, prepare to see elephants, leopards, and innumerable colourful birds. Later you’ll retire to your Leopard Trails Camp where you’ll spend two nights under the stars in a luxury tent allowing you to combine blissful relaxation with a touch of the wild.
Finishing your trip to Sri Lanka you’ll be driven to Galle Fort where you’ll spend your final night. Stroll along the cobbled streets of the ancient city, mingle with the friendly people and immerse yourself in its enchanting blend of culture and tradition. After spending the day walking along historical streets you’ll head to The Fort Printers. This 18th-century mansion has been carefully restored as an elegant hotel and you’ll stay in one of its luxurious suites.
