Upon arrival in Barcelona, you’ll check in to your luxurious suite at Hotel Casa Fuster. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel is the perfect springboard to explore from. With broad windows and cherry wood decor you’ll start your journey in style, drinking in the sights and sounds of this cosmopolitan city.

Barcelona plays host to an array of artistic masterpieces. Antoni Gaudí is the mastermind behind several of Barcelona’s beloved sights. We’ll take you on a guided tour through the best of these where you’ll get to explore some of the most popular buildings in the city. Just north of Barcelona, you’ll experience the quirky museum designed by Salvador Dalí to showcase his paintings. The museum offers insight into his imagination with his works displayed according to his own strange tastes.

Enjoy an OROKO guided tour of Girona’s medieval centre and discover the incredibly well preserved Jewish quarter. Its narrow, winding, cobblestoned streets are a joy to explore and have hardly changed in hundreds of years. You’ll have the opportunity to stop off at many Game of Thrones film sites along the way including the Girona Cathedral, a building that dominates the city's skyline.

Journey to the abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat, one of Spain’s key religious sites. Join your OROKO guide as you scale Montserrat Mountain on the cogwheel train, enjoying striking vistas of the mountain’s surreal rock formations and Barcelona off in the distance. The monastery was founded in the 10th century and still functions to this day with over seventy monks living on its stunning grounds.

Interact with and learn about life, science and technology at the 21st century Science Museum and visit the largest aquarium in Europe, containing representatives of the world’s main marine ecosystems. Located in what was once a leper hospital, Museu Faller wonderfully tells the story of the “Las Fallas” festival of Valencia. The annual festival is a fire-based display of colour and sound where large intricately crafted and decorated sculptures are set up and set ablaze amid a thunder of fireworks in honour of the Patron Saint of Valencia. The museum offers a fantastic insight into this vibrant tradition and displays some of the sculptures that were spared from destruction.

Discover the Natural Park of l’Albufera, birthplace of Paella, where rice cultivation has been perfected since the 19th century. The park is home to the largest lake in Spain and one of the most important wetland areas in the Iberian Peninsula. On your cruise you’ll sample the best of local gastronomy and learn about local culture. End your day with a relaxing glass of wine as the sun sets over the lake.
