Covid-19 Approach

At present, circumstances surrounding the outbreak of Covid-19 are ever-changing, and at OROKO, we are monitoring developments closely. Our clients’ safety is of the utmost importance and we are working with our global network of partners to provide the best service to our clients.

At OROKO, we always adhere to the Department of Foreign Affairs travel advice. The majority of OROKO clients are continuing to travel as planned but to give additional peace of mind, we have adapted our booking policy to be as flexible as possible. You will find an update below on our booking policy.

If I book today, what flexibility will you offer me if I need to change my plans?

For new bookings made between 12 March and 01 April 2020, you may transfer bookings to the same or a new destination up to 30 days prior to departure, to an alternate date before 31 December 2020.

No amendment fees will be charged.
We may need to adjust the cost of your trip depending on the pricing season you change to.

If I have already booked, what happens if the Department of Foreign Affairs advises against all but essential travel to a country?

If you are due to travel within the next 30 days, alternative options will be discussed with you. These will include postponing your trip, changing the destination of travel or receiving a refund.

If you are travelling to that country after the next 30 days, we will contact you closer to your date of departure.

As the situation is rapidly evolving, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss the next steps.

What happens if the Department of Foreign Affairs doesn’t specifically advise against travelling to a country?

Postponing travel

The OROKO team are working hard to secure free of charge postponements for all imminent departures. We are working with our partners to minimise penalties wherever possible. No amendment fees will be charged by OROKO to enact those changes.

If we can move your booking to a new date without penalty, we will do so. We may need to adjust the cost of your trip depending on the pricing season you change to.

In the event the DFA is not advising against travel and you choose to cancel, the OROKO standard cancellation conditions will apply. View OROKO Terms and Conditions below:
