Quinta Real Oaxaca
The Quinta Real is the beautifully restored 16th-century ex-convent of Santa Catalina, located in the heart of Oaxaca. All rooms are beautifully decorated with authentic beamed ceilings, Oaxacan fabrics and Mexican fabrics, yet has a more boutique hotel feel to it due to a number of greenery-filled courtyards, lovely fountains and a charming, intimate atmosphere. There is a relaxing pool and a good restaurant. The Quinta Real is an excellent base from which to explore the town as well to stay and relax in comfort with a margarita or cold beer.
